Isn’t funny how life works out sometimes? In July of 2022, I decided to end my career as a Farm Loan Officer for the United States Department of Agriculture in Montana and move to International Falls, Minnesota to change the view outside of my window. As Marc Jacobs once said, “change is a great and horrible thing, and people love it or hate it at the same time. Without change, however, you just don’t move.”

Please allow me to introduce myself. Hello, my name in Cheryl Tompt. My financial background started with a business management degree from the University of Montana and concluded many years later with assisting farmers in navigating their financial world as a United Stated Department of Agriculture Farm Loan Officer. To become a Farm Loan Officer requires an extensive two years of training and reviews, before loan approval is granted. This training is in depth study of appraisals of real estate/personal property, contract interpretation, financial document preparation and financial assessments to create a successful enterprise. My favorite part about this job was helping people achieve their dream, no matter how big or how small.

Since I thoroughly enjoyed helping people realize their agricultural ownership dreams, I decided to put my knowledge and expertise to work in real estate. I am passionate about my work as a Real Estate agent and know how to get the job done. I would describe my greatest assets as discretion, honesty, hard work and am open to new ideas. Your private information to me is just that…private. I will always be honest with you and open to your ideas as I believe this is the foundation of a solid working relationship. This working relationship will provide you the opportunity to benefit from my knowledge in a financial background and to bring the real estate world to your team. It is my mission to bring my expertise to help you find, in this moment in your life what you are looking for in real estate.
